The college is committed to promoting advanced research and academic excellence through its doctoral programmes. Out of the total 11 academic departments, 7 departments are currently offering Ph.D. programmes, providing opportunities for scholars to engage in high-quality research across various disciplines.

Admission Process
Admission to the Ph.D. programme is conducted through an entrance test organized by Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University. Candidates are selected strictly on merit as per the rules and regulations of the University.
However, candidates who have qualified NET/JRF are exempted from the entrance test, in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission and the University norms.

Mode of Programme
The Ph.D. programme is offered in regular mode, requiring scholars to actively participate in academic and research activities within the institution.
Special provisions are available for in-service candidates, allowing them to pursue research while continuing their professional responsibilities, subject to University regulations.
